This brand design brief was from Braaands_co. The brief was to create a skin care brand aimed at surfers. As surfers are often out in the sun for hours on end, as well as being extremely exposed to the elements throughout.

The first step was to establish the logo which I created with a hand drawn feel in mind. I also wanted to put emphasis on the sun and sea element as the entire aim of the brand is to protect surfers as they are exposed to both. I also took into account that the brand would have more than one type of suncream and so I designed several options and colour coded them accordingly. I decided to use colour of the waves to highlight the difference as in surfing, the quality of the waves is of great importance.
